Chapter 1: Folsom Lake 140

The Folsom Lake 140 is a 70-mile loop around the iconic Folsom Lake in Northern California... twice... for a total of 140 miles. Starting in Auburn, CA, you pass through Newcastle, Granite Bay, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Cool, and back to Auburn. Then, you repeat it in the other direction on the second loop. We dedicated this epic run to 106 kids who endured way harder things than running 140 miles. $11,000+ raised, 45 hours, 56 minutes, and 11 seconds elapsed. Zero minutes of sleep. One unstoppable mission: honor every child, every mile.

Fighters, Survivors, Forever

A tribute wall was built throughout the run, with children added at every aid station—106 in total, ending with Landon at the finish line.

There really is no finish line for childhood cancer. Since the completion of this run, multiple Fighters are now Forever, and some Survivors are now Fighters again.
